THE OLYMPIC DELIVERY AUTHORITY #SOLIDEO #OLYMPICVENUES
SOLIDEO’s mission is to ensure the delivery of venues and infrastructures and the completion of redevelopment operations necessary for the Paris 2024 Games within the defined budget and to create an ambitious, sustainable and exemplary heritage. These venues and infrastructures are conceived and designed to be converted from 2025 onwards into facilities, housing and offices.
As a Public Industrial and Commercial Institution (EPIC), according to the law of 28 February 2017, whose statutes are fixed by the decree of 27 December 2017, SOLIDEO is the investor, developer and supervisor of venues and infrastructures.
It is the direct project manager of various key sites - the Olympic and Paralympic Village urban development zone, the Media Cluster urban development zone, various infrastructures and public facilities - and is the supervisor of project managers for a multitude of other sites.
The set budget is 3.2 billion euros (before tax, 2016 value) of investments, including 1.4 billion from the French State and local authorities.
THE OLYMPIC GAMES AND PARALYMPIC GAMES ORGANISING COMMITTEE #PARIS2024
The mission of Paris 2024, within the framework of the host city contract signed between the IOC, the CNOSF and the City of Paris, is to plan, organise, finance and deliver the 2024 Games.
Paris 2024, whose statutes were filed on 22 December 2017, is an association constituted in accordance with the French law of 1901 concerning non-profit organisations, with a budget of 3.8 billions euros before tax (2024 value) and whose finance is 97% private in source. These resources mostly come from the IOC and its marketing and ticketing partners, and from companies partnering Paris 2024. The residual public finance of 100 million euros is destined for the operational resources for the Paralympic Games.
Tony Estanguet, triple Olympic champion and member of the IOC, is president of Paris 2024. Its Board of Directors includes the CNOSF, the City of Paris, the French State, the Île-de-France Region, the CPSF (French Paralympic and Sports Committee), the Métropole du Grand Paris (Greater Paris), the Departmental council for Seine-Saint-Denis and representatives from local authorities affected by the Games.
SOLIDEO supervises a multitude of projects, led by 29 project managers (public, private, local authorities, developers) with an overall value of 3.2 billion euros.

SOLIDEO is under the supervision of the French Ministry for the Economy, Finance and the Recovery, the French Ministry of National Cohesion and Relations with Local Government and the French Ministry of Sport.
